Please order one size larger than expected. I've used them in the Arctic to photograph the Northern Lights and while the open fingers are good for camera work, the gloves overall aren't that warm, even at 20F. In fact, I found my old motorcycle. Gloves are much warmer and of course don't have the comfort of open fingers. So mixed review.

This glove will protect hands in cold but not freezing temperatures (ie not below 32 degrees Fahrenheit). I've attached a photo of a Vallerret glove next to one that I'm comfortable wearing in around 20 degrees Fahrenheit (the Valleret glove is above).
