Well done final review

I was looking for a good pair of waterproof pants for torrential rainy days in Vancouver. I was so glad I finally found it. I am 5 feet tall and weigh 106 pounds. I ordered size L and it was perfect. The fabric rustles a little when you walk, but that's okay. I've worn it a few times now and it definitely keeps me dry. Love it!

Pros
  • The quality looks good. Still to be tried on.
Cons
  • The waterproof rain and hiking pants Marmot PreCip Kids are quite expensive, which makes it difficult for some families to buy them.

light seems to work.

They're a lot lighter than I expected and I think they're more suited to wearing over pants than just pants, although you can probably do that too. (If you play in the snow, you should definitely wear warm pants underneath.) The material reminds me of the material of very light (single layer) wind jackets. We haven't had rain or snow where we are but I've thrown them in the wash and they're waterproof! I took off my pants and ended up splashing water all over. All other clothes soaked up water,

Pros
  • Easy to clean and maintain
Cons
  • Not very versatile

Keep working on my review.

I was hoping to use these as winter pants as my kids are too old for swimmers but they really do best in the rain and are water repellent rather than waterproof. My son wears them to Boy Scout events; They are very thin so they don't feel bulky compared to other clothing. But not for the pouring rain.

Pros
  • Made from high quality materials for durability
Cons
  • Not very stylish

Great for layering + keeping dry

I'm a 5ft 115lb woman and size XL is great for layering. It's a thin layer, but when layered it stays dry. Comfortable enough for a hike.

Pros
  • Designed for a comfortable and snug fit on the child's body.
Cons
  • The pants are only available in a few sizes which may not be suitable for children who are outside of the typical size range.

Good rain pants in my review.

They are thin, suitable for the warm season and need to breathe. Like all similar rain pants, they look a bit like garbage bags, but when worn they look like pants. They also work as an outer layer on snow. I feel like they don't take much abrasion on a trail despite being a ripstop.

Pros
  • Provides excellent waterproofing in rain or wet conditions.
Cons
  • Tight Fit: The Marmot PreCip Kids Waterproof Rain & Hiking Pants may be too tight for some children, making it difficult for them to move comfortably.

Happy to return - waste of money

waste of money. Too tight around the hips and waist, too hard to live with. Waterproof. It's not well built. Too bad I didn't get it back in time. If anyone would like them for free from me and you only pay for shipping let me know.

Pros
  • Offers reliable protection without sacrificing comfort.
Cons
  • Lack of adjustable features.

The waist is small, it's good for me

Carefully. I ordered a large one for my 13 year old grandson. The waist is too small and he is a skinny boy. I measured the waist of the pants and they fit someone with a 24 inch waist. I ordered X-Large hoping it would fit.

Pros
  • Stylish design that kids will love
Cons
  • Inadequate Insulation: Pants may not provide adequate insulation in cold weather, leading to discomfort and potential discomfort.

good quality good for me

I'm 5'0" and 105 pounds and the size fits me perfectly, even with leggings underneath. Skinny jeans are fine too. I like that there are zip pockets, as well as the bottom half of the legs. There are even extra buttons on the Bottom of the legs so you can tighten them up if needed. They are very light/thin so you don't feel heavy.Haven't tried them in the rain but I'm glad!***UPDATE: I have these Took me camping in the summer and was glad I did, it rained, it kept me dry as I rode through wet…

Pros
  • Taped seams prevent water from seeping through the pants.
Cons
  • Pants may not fit over bulkier garments like jeans or sweatpants, limiting their versatility.

Size L for petite women

I ordered these pants for my upcoming trip to Northern Europe, can't comment on the specs, Marmot is a good brand so I'm hoping they will hold me up in wet weather. In terms of height, I'm a petite woman, 5ft 1in, 100lbs. I ordered two sizes to try. M was too small. L is ok - fits me well over skinny jeans or leggings, the length is perfect.

Pros
  • Great product, they are also available in adult size. True to size, long enough. Definitely waterproof
Cons
  • Good

They worked so well against the rain I borrowed them!

Well I tried them more carefully than I expected. I ordered these for my son to grow up and ended up borrowing them for myself! I'm a petite woman - 5ft 5in, 110lbs, wear big ones if you plan to try them too. But enough about adult usage, let me give you a practical overview. They are very thin which is actually my favorite part. We mainly use waterproof pants for mild Oregon winters. I love that they can easily be worn over whatever pants my son wears. They take up almost no space when packed.

Pros
  • Outdoor clothing
Cons
  • Not sure

Stylish and practical, suitable for children!

Great waterproof pants for kids. Although marketed and designed to protect children from rain and other water, they are essential for cold climates with significant snowfall. They're great for older kids who refuse to wear "little" winter pants when they still need the moisture protection that playing in the snow brings. These unisex pants have many great features: a comfortable elasticated waist, a pair of zipped pockets, zipped ankles for easy on and off over boots, and an adjustable cuff…

Pros
  • Pants
Cons
  • Thin
