Real pocket 15°, SUPER!

Bought for a week at Shennendoah for a cold sleep in November. Two nights in a row with strong teenage (F°) winds and she was still happy, dry and warm (also used insulation for three seasons). Well sewn, dries quickly, the package is small. She tosses and turns, sleeps on her side and says she's comfortable all the time.

Pros
  • Nice design
Cons
  • I have no negative feelings about it everything is fine

Such a great value!

We have three of these for myself and my two teenage daughters. They are far superior in quality to other budget sleeping bags (under $100). I've been using mine for a few years now and have no complaints. It's perfect for camping with heavy gear and my daughters no longer complain about being cold at night. Great bag for 3 seasons. But if I was mountaineering, I'd spend $$$ on a high-tech, lightweight bag. This one is pretty bulky.

Pros
  • practical item
Cons
  • interchangeable

Most likely get a refund.

I'm pretty sure I got a refund. because of how the product arrived. The sleeping bag was placed in a loosely tied plastic bag, pretty sure the sleeping bag should have arrived in a compression sack. Anyway, it looked unused and I couldn't find anything wrong with the product so I gave it a try. I'm 5ft 2in and it's a comfortable fit without being too warm. If I don't return it I may update this review after actually using it during the trip.

Pros
  • Best in niche
Cons
  • Only available in black

Very warm, light, a little shorter than I would like.

The warmest and lightest sleeping bag I've ever owned. The rating given is comfort, not survivability like most. Keeps you warm even in sub-zero temperatures. I would suggest the length of the short bag is listed as 5ft 4" not 5ft 6" as I am 5ft 5" and find it a bit tight. You should be able to stretch your toes and have a small pillow in your hood. Either way, this is a great bag that can be unzipped, turned inside out and simply used as a camping blanket. Double function is an added value.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Dull packaging

Satisfied with the purchase

I bought this bag for an overnight camping trip in 32 F. I wanted to make sure I was warm at night. The bag came in a small pouch and felt very thick and warm when I first opened it. I liked the zippers on each side and the inside zippered pocket. I'm 5ft 3,135lbs and there was plenty of extra room in the bag. Maybe there was too much extra space for my body to warm up properly. I used a bag stuffed into another mummy sleeping bag with an inflatable sleeping pad underneath and had a blanket…

Pros
  • GOLS certificate
Cons
  • Some defects

The Marmot Trestles 15 sleeping bag is a fantastic purchase. My fiancee has already used this bag on a very cold night in the mountains here in Alaska and it worked great, in fact it was so warm that she had to unzip it a bit to adjust the temperature. While it may not be the lightest or smallest oil seal, it is light and small considering the price. First class product. In addition, I have a Men's Trestles 15 that I've used for years and have withstood a lot of abuse and all sorts of…

Pros
  • Impressive

  • Not as bulky as other options

Good 3-season backpack, suitable for sleeping bags

My girlfriend used it on her first hike and was very satisfied. lined and slept in light merino wool underwear with a wool hat and wool socks. Temperature was 40F both nights, no wind. The tent was REI Half Dome Two Plus. She found the sleeping bag kept her warm, but worried that she would need extra layers if the temperature dropped much lower. The zipper kept getting caught on the exhaust pipe, but opened easily. She really couldn't handle the laces (although I attribute that to her…

Pros
  • Good marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Doubtful

So far.cool. Best in Outdoor Activities

I really like the height of the bag. I'm 5ft 1in and my pockets are usually so long that I get cold. I've only tried this bag a couple of times and the temp at the MOAB was only in the 50's so obviously I was warm. I really like 2 zippers. There is a short zip on one side and a full length left zip on the other. I also love the fact that I can adjust part of the mummy's head so it's not so tight. There are 2 ways to tighten the opening. There is a pocket inside the 'stash' and it's big enough…

Warms and compresses well in a compression bag.

I ordered this sleeping bag in LONG. I'm female, 5'6 and weigh 217 pounds. I booked for a long time because I wanted more legroom. I'm glad I did. I can't imagine if I ordered a normal one. In my opinion, the sleeping bag fits snugly. I couldn't bend my legs much and had a hard time turning over BUT this sleeping bag kept me warm in the low 40's going down to the low 30's with constant showers and wind. It literally rained all night. I'm not a cold person so maybe this helped keep my body warm.

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Only available in white
