🧥 Marmot Women's Chelsea Down Rain Coat - 700 Fill Power, Waterproof Review

Can't wait for the weather to wear this coat but it's very well made. I didn't detect any squeaking when I tried it on this morning, but I don't care what noise it makes when I'm outside in freezing rain, sleet, or snow. It's lightweight, which makes it more comfortable, and the knee length is hard to come by and much appreciated.

The Steel Onyx didn't impress me. I was hoping my color would be more vibrant in person, but in person it was just as boring. After reading the reviews I was also asked to order a medium size but the jumpsuit was too big and didn't fit the figure as I would like. I'm 5'7, 135 lbs, athletic build. I sent the middle one back hoping the small one would fit better.

I love this coat! If you live in NH and work in Maine, you never know what the weather might be like. On these very cold, windy and humid days I only feel cold where my feet are not covered by a coat or boots. The only small negative point is the color - in the picture it is a real steel gray - in real life it has a slight muted grey-green tint. However, this is not a violation of the terms of the contract. You can't go wrong with this coat from Marmot!

I really liked this coat: warm, comfortable, stylish for the down filling. My only complaint is that it was loud when I sang with my hands - really no big deal. The dimensions of the Revain were terrible. I ordered 10 and received the small one when I expected and wanted the medium one. Since when is 10 not enough? I returned it and bought the correct size from another site. So the coat itself gets 4 stars and the Revain sizes get zero!

This is a beautiful, well-tailored, warm, thoughtful mid-length coat! It was exactly the answer to my winter needs without the down jacket that I hate! Waterproof, not shiny, dress up or down. My usual size is small. Using the chart provided, I ordered the recommended average size. The coat fits perfectly, except for the chest too tight. The large one would be long in the sleeves and oversized in the waist and hips. (126 pounds, 5 feet, 3 inches, bust 36, hips 38)

Received today in the middle of a snowstorm. How good it is in the cold and wet I can't say as I don't feel like going outside at the moment. What I can say is that the fit is amazing and is very flattering on my figure. I'm 5ft and 100lbs and the XS in black fits me very well and leaves some room around my waist. Since I'm small, it's always difficult for me to find clothes that fit. This one is perfect. The waist is where it should be. Unlike the picture, the coat goes just above the knees…
