Marmot Men's Zeus Jacket: Lightweight, Water-Resistant with 700 Fill Power Down Review

This coat is a huge disappointment! My husband looks like a bird when he wears this because he has feathers sticking out of him! Definitely bad quality!

This jacket is very light and very warm. It's not super plump and true to size. I even start sweating a minute after getting dressed. It even kept me dry when camping during a downpour. I recommend it to anyone who wants warmth.

My father-in-law's fire burned holes in my Patagonia so I replaced it with this one. I have a perfect figure for a skinny man, they have too much room for my arms and shoulders which makes me look a bit like wearing shoulder pads but not so bad that I didn't keep them.

This is my husband's second! He loves this coat! It's so warm when needed in our MI weather, but it can also be worn to go shopping and it won't overheat! This is a win-win coat! It sheds a few feathers here and there, but that's no reason not to buy one. The warmth of the fluff is worth it! You will not be disappointed with this purchase.

The jacket is just great! Compact, light, warm and comfortable. It conveniently folds into one of the pockets for short-term convenience. Don't keep it for so long or the fluff will go bad. One of the pockets has a zip on the inside of the jacket so once folded into the pocket you can zip it up and it becomes a small 5x7x2 pocket (approx size). In the last 3 months I looked at over two dozen different down jackets before settling on Marmot's Zeus. It's everything I expected and the price (I only paid $109!) couldn't be better. Incredibly warm. When it arrived I just put it on with a t-shirt and went outside barefoot in the 33 degrees (23 degrees below zero). My legs were cold (yup) but my whole torso was cooked through. zippered pocket flap inserts a zipper into every other zipper. Unbelievable that the company managed to get so many small design features right and not come up with a zipper that most of the time doesn't hold up! I am so disappointed.
