Big upgrade good for replacement spikes

I wasn't sure what to expect when I ordered the spikes for my look. Kep pedals not manufactured by LOOK. But it turned out to be a huge upgrade. They work as well or better than the originals and the upgrade was that the screw that holds them in place is a larger allen wrench. Installation goes much more confidently without having to strip the screws. After the first ride, I immediately went home and bought a replacement set. I hope they remain available while I have these petals.

Direct replacement and value for money

I wanted to support my local bike shop but the pandemic has made it extremely difficult. My old LOOK/KEO boots were so worn that I had to start using an old pair of shoes to get by without them. So I ordered them from Revain and they work just as well as the originals. The trail was a little different than the LOOK spikes, but not by much. Overall they are a great replacement for boots and are good value for money. One more thing I like is the fact that a larger hex wrench is used to install…

Worst in sport

These are the worst spikes in the world. They match my Sidi fans perfectly, but I don't feel as afloat as I do with the Keo brand. Also, they are so slippery that I almost fell when leaving the house. I've never had that - they aren't non-slip. The rubber ring in the middle of the spike does not prevent any slipping at all. I've been riding the Look Keo for almost 15 years now and I know bike cleats aren't made for walking but they aren't secure or even what you need to do. I can only imagine…
