I needed a wallet that could comfortably hold multiple cards. That fits the bill. I don't carry my wallet in my back pocket so this worked for me. As with any wallet, it becomes a little unwieldy when full. It's not as cumbersome as trying to fit a large number of credit cards, ID cards, loyalty cards, insurance, etc. into a smaller classic square. Plenty of room for cards, large, not bulky, color coordinated. The downside is that the lining of the card slots broke immediately. I take good care of things not to be too rough, clogged and packed and I read a lot of reviews before buying. I am still using this wallet about 6 months after I bought it. I wish there was a place outside for the driver's license so you don't have to open your wallet to show your ID. My last one had it on the outside with a short credit card slot. I really wanted that. Since this wallet is marketed as a check book holder, having both compartments inside with credit card slots is not very good. Complaints about this wallet have been resolved. I've had check books 3 times the price that are no better. Apparently the manufacturer has complained about this wallet in other reviews. The cards don't protrude from the end as others have noted and the ID frame is fine and doesn't cover the ID. Since my wallet is a replacement for a lost one, and I haven't filled all the compartments but filled about half of ours, and with a full checkbook and a reply to a photo, it closes easily.
