Marshall Ferret Animal Playpen Panel Review

I couldn't stand my rabbit, lasted less than 1 month from date of purchase. When I pick her up she smells like plastic/BPA; I wonder why she chewed it to avoid toxic fumes. waste of money. By the way, she can very easily jump out of the fence/horse she gets close to. Don't leave your baby rabbits unattended with this product or pen.

This was an amazing product I placed in my living room under a pussy pad and dog crate with a grate around it for my new pup to get in and out of his cage and have a place to run around , if I left it at home during the day. This ensured the carpet never got soiled and worked great and still works to this day!

I use these with Marshall playpens as permanent homes for our rabbits. They are great for keeping the mess in the cage and off the carpet or floor. I usually change them every year but they are very easy to keep clean. A good brush and a damp cloth or mop will suffice. I've been using them in conjunction with a stylus for over 13 years and while they don't seem to match the pens as well as they used to, I wouldn't use anything else.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this rug! I bought this for my dwarf bunny and it is so easy to clean and fits very well in her playpen (I don't have a Marshall brand small animal hutch but it seems close enough). Velcro doesn't allow her to lift the playpen and get out. I just wipe away any wet spots with a paper towel and the carpet doesn't even leave a mark! For dry accidents (e.g. poop!) I use my ShopVac. So easy to use - +++++ product!

For many years we have placed this mat on the floor of our playpen every day for our ferret to play. Never had trouble using it above. However, our ferret regularly tried to get out of the arena. Using a second mat on top was not an effective deterrent. We had used these rugs in various situations with multiple animals for probably 10 years before one became so disgusting that I threw it away. Very durable, very durable! But a motivated rabbit can definitely bury it.

I don't know what I was thinking when I bought this item. I must have misunderstood the product description because for some reason I thought the mat came with the playpen and when it arrived in the mail I was upset to see it was just a mat. I also think the product name was misleading. Maybe it could say "Marshall Ferret Small Animal Playpen Mat/Cover for 11 18" panels, colors may vary." It was several months of work before my rat figured out how to get away from it even when covered from above and below. She is a master of escape, nothing can stop her! She bit off the entire rim of the bottom lid. Then she climbed onto the top of the playpen, pushed off the top cover and climbed out. The animal is smart enough to run away. After seeing her squeeze out the top, I stuck a bobby pin in to tighten the lid, after which she started chewing on the hole around the clip to make her run
