🔪 Martha Stewart Cutting Mat: Large, High-Quality 16 x 24 inch Craft Mat Review

This was a very good and economical alternative for children's workstations compared to children's activity mats. We currently use it for drawing room and toys and I love that it folds up to fit in a closet.

Anyone who has written reviews about it lying flat must have been shipped flat or gotten lucky because if it WILL NOT "heal itself". I had to spend 2 hours removing the rubber strip on the back so it lay perfectly flat and then supergluing the pieces together. I don't even know why it had to be "foldable" in the first place, but unfortunately it was the only size I needed.

I am very happy with this cutting mat. The healing power of the mat has been above average so far and being able to fold it up is a plus for on the go and at home for quick access. The seam disappears when the mat is opened and doesn't bother my cuts. I use a cutting mat to cut cardboard and chipboard with a box cutter.

Line dimensions vary by half an inch and I would not consider the mat self-healing. If you need a cutting mat that you don't use often and don't need accurate measurements, then this is the mat for you. If you need a measured cut rug I wouldn't recommend it at all. This is also not self-medication.

I'm a master quilter and I was surprised that this cutting board was as good quality as it is - it's Martha Stewart's, isn't it? (I'm a fan!) I was expecting to find traces of my disc cutter, but that didn't happen. It folds up and stores easily and since it's my extra cutting mat I do - great to have in the RV. As for accuracy, I didn't measure because I use rulers to measure, not a mat.
