does the job. Protect my little beautiful brain!

Bought this for my little one for Christmas and was a little unsure of the size and fit. My son is tall for his age but still a green bean. He just turned 4 a week and a half before Christmas but wears a size 5 helmet up. It fits him perfectly and looks good. The bike helmet is of good quality and didn't chafe after the first crash and fall!

Cute, functional, slightly expensive helmet

My six year old son loves his Spiderman helmet which he wears with his new Avengers bike. He has a fairly large head and the 5-8 helmet fits him snugly but comfortably. He likes that he looks like Funko Pop. We really think the helmet prices have gotten ridiculous as most of them are just cheap molded foam and a thin decorative plastic shell. $25-$40 for a helmet seems excessive for bike helmets. $10-20 would be more reasonable for materials but we do what we have to do for safety.

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • Expensive

No head circumference adjustment

Attractive look but not very functional as a 3-5 year old helmet. There is no ring for a tight fit around the circumference of the head. My 3 year old loves superheroes so we got him one for Christmas but the first time he fell in he still banged his forehead on the sidewalk. At 5 years old it's still too loose. My favorite helmet brand is Baby Nutty/Little Nutty. I knew it wasn't going to be great, but in hindsight I think I'd even prefer a regular bike helmet if it had an adjustable head…

  • Good product for the price
