Poor fit and finish

I was very disappointed when these knives arrived as I had high hopes for Masamoto who had bought the Masamoto VG line in the past. The "Petty" and "8" chef's knives didn't convince us because there were gaps between the wood and the tang under the handle. In addition, there were minor scratches on the edge of the blade, most noticeable on the 8" and 6.5" chef's knives. Bunka/Santoku
