Great for tight muscles

I have a herniated disc in my lower back which is the main reason a lot of the surrounding muscles get locked up after a workout. My hip flexors and psoas in particular are always tight, causing pain when bending over and standing up. These balls are so simple and yet so effective. I lie on my stomach on a thick yoga mat, balls under my stomach, a few inches on either side of my navel. Essential pain reliever for bodybuilding / muscle pain

I do a lot of bodybuilding style strength training and have sustained several injuries over the years. Namely: My lower back is quite agitated and often hurts. I already do a lot of post workout stretching and foam rolling which has helped a lot but after trying these massage balls I will never go back to a foam roller. This is probably one of the best things I've bought this year for personal and post-workout massages! Sometimes when I miss a workout or tense my shoulder due to office (computer) work, I get severe cramps at the top of my shoulders.
