Not 0.15 inch, actually 0.015 inch

Converts inches to millimeters and vice versa very bad. It's 0.015". I searched for strong solder and trusted the search instead of reading the description. Well I can use it for some small electronics projects.

Pros
  • Solder
Cons
  • Exchange availability

Terrible lot. Can't stick it to the scratch.

Terrible solder. There is no way to glue it to the worn, cleaned, fluxed copper circuit board. I've tried using a temperature range of 250C to 420C on my iron, nothing seems to help. The solder used was a well known brand and day and night differed in how it melted and flowed.

Pros
  • ★ Perfect combination of tin and lead, lower melting point, smoother soldering, more brilliant solder point. Good wettability, conductivity, thermal conductivity and tinning ability.
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

Pretty good buy if you don't need much.

Slightly less solder than I expected. The thickness is only about 1.5 layers per coil (thickness of 1 layer and half of the second layer). But for soldering about 20 pins on a chip this worked really well for me. It spreads well (I used extra flux) and the joints seem to be holding up well. Pretty good buy if you don't need a lot of flimsy stuff.

Pros
  • ★ Melting point: 361F/183C, Flux: 2%.
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than others

As already mentioned in another review: Chunky trash.

Should have listened to another review. It took 750F to 800F to get decent flow even with the drops of rosin solder added. Not sure if it's composition or anything else but compared to the other 63/37 Tn/Pb solder it was impossible to work with, it required too much heat that barely reached my soldering tip.

Pros
  • ★ Alloy: tin 63% lead 37%.
Cons
  • Long delivery
