Good quality good for levers

I used this on a Kawasaki Prairie KVF400. It fits perfectly and works wonderfully. The only downside was that the factory rubber sleeve could not be used due to a different brake line mount. For the low price I paid for it, I can live with it.

Pros
  • good thing
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Great value for money: Brake

Overall, excellent value for money. Feels firm and my front brakes worked again with a working brake light switch. I feel like the action lever is a bit different because it's a bit harder to press than my old brakes. The biggest annoyance is that the handle isn't adjustable and it's a little hard to get a hold of. But for $20, it absolutely works

You get what you pay for

Appearance was good I really thought I was getting a decent part. I screwed the part and when I started tightening the screws the threads separated. Okay, so I said I'll just redo it, and it worked. I started bleeding the master cylinder and then the handle got stuck. I just took it off and threw it away. You get what you pay for

Broke after 20 minutes of use

I installed this on my ATV, rode it for less than 20 minutes and the brake lever fell off the master cylinder. Of course I didn't realize it until I started using the front brakes and he wasn't there. It seemed like a solid product until I started using it. So if you buy this I would recommend that you remove the bolt on the brake lever and reinstall with a lock so you don't have the same problem I did.

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons
  • Expensive

The product did not work properly.

I brought my daughter's Honda mechanic and parts for her brakes. The description said it would fit the Honda model she has. The mechanic installed everything correctly and found that the internal components of the main hydraulic actuator attached to the brake lever were not working properly. He bled the brakes several times and found that this particular part was faulty. I have since ordered a similar component from a different manufacturer and supplier to repair their brakes.

Pros
  • Everything OK!
Cons
  • Hard to say

Not an exact match, though.

Where to start? Ok, I just installed this on my 2005 Thumpstar. Yes it fit on the handlebars but I had to move the start button to get the right angle. The lever was much larger than stock, and the master cylinder was at least another inch larger. Overall installation was quick and easy. Brake line routed but not working perfectly. Please look at my photos where it lands. I gave it four stars because it's definitely better than no front brake, but not a perfect match. The top also has an extra…

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

Great quality Great price Thank you KanSmart!

Fits my 2004 300ex like a dream. The lever is more suited to a road bike than off-road, but very comfortable. Simply replace with the original lever or change the clutch side to suit. There were no problems with the pumping of the brakes, I didn't pump it, I just filled it, pumped and weakened the pumps and pumped one at a time. I have read many reviews of people stripping screws and bolts for cheap quality. it is a bull. No need to tighten bolts or screws like holding something together that…

Pros
  • Great overall performance
Cons
  • Doubtful
