Great set for what you pay for. The only downside is that a chef's knife dulls quickly, but this is a good set if you have a fiancé who doesn't know how to take care of your professional knives and just needs a set so he can use and be sloppy .

I haven't used the product yet except for scissors and I have a feeling they won't last long. They're already partially falling apart. The handles of the knives are plastic but the price is right and they fit in my kitchen. I will update the review once the knives come in handy.

I bought this knife set as an accent color but the quality is very poor. It was cheap compared to other knife sets. I will not wash these knives in the dishwasher as I expect the color of the handles to fade. The price is reasonable, but I wouldn't give it away because of the lack of quality.

Terrible! I bought this set hoping to complement my Thanksgiving dinner knives. Terribly terrible! waste of money. I tried to cut open a potato and the knife point cut my finger that I had to deal with for the rest of the day. I tried slicing the cucumber smaller and it was a joke. Do not buy!

I don't have all the knives yet but I can tell they won't last long. The knife itself is not very tight in the plastic handle. The red plastic handle itself looks very cheap. Some have scratches! The block of wood has shards; has not been ground or polished very well. The slots for the steak knives are also cut unevenly. I expect better quality from the "MasterChef" knife set; but i think you get what you pay for.

I wasn't expecting premium quality when I ordered this product, but at least I was expecting Walmart-comparable quality for the price. Yes, I say the quality is even worse than what you would expect from WalMart for the same price. I'm used to the fact that Revain usually has a higher quality product.
