Description of Matador MP 47 Hectorra 3 195/65 R15 91T summer
The Matador MP 47 Hectorra 3 tire model is designed for high-speed luxury cars. When creating the tire, computer technology, additives and special additives were used to prevent rapid wear of the tread. Curved grooves located in the center of the tread area help to drain water and ensure the safety of movement on a wet track.
Summer tire for passenger cars Matador MP-47 Hectorra 3 appeared on the domestic market quite recently. However, almost immediately it became very popular, due to its moderate cost with very high performance. This is largely due to the use in its design of technologies provided by Continental AG. Currently, the Slovak manufacturer is one of the structural divisions of this tire giant. At the same time, it should be noted that it has a very wide applicability. The Slovak company offers this model in 50 sizes. Many of them have a speed index Y, which implies the use of modern technologies and materials in its design.
When creating this model, special attention was paid to ensuring maximum safety on wet roads. It is at a very high level, thanks to several technical solutions. First of all, this is the design of the drainage system with four very large longitudinal grooves located in the central part of the tread. It is in them that all the water discharged from the contact patch enters. Then it directs outward, including through a plurality of transverse drainage grooves. Many of them are directed against the movement, while having a curved shape and a variable section, which greatly increased their throughput, and at the same time the resistance of the tire to aquaplaning.
The asymmetric tread pattern of this tire contains a large number of individual elements. However, almost all of them are distinguished by an inextricable structure and massive size. The most illustrative example of such features is the design of the central part of the tread. It contains three longitudinal ribs formed from very massive longitudinally arranged blocks. Their high resistance to dynamic deformation gives the tire exceptional stability under braking and acceleration, and makes it extremely fast and precise in response to driver input.
The shoulder areas on both sides of the asymmetric tread differ from each other only in minor details. In both cases, the design is characterized by the presence of a large number of individual blocks located almost at right angles to the direction of movement. It is they that account for most of the load that occurs when making sharp maneuvers and cornering. In such modes, the tire allows you to maintain full control over the trajectory of the car, even at high speed, due to the large area of the contact patch, which is due to the above-described design features of the shoulder straps.
