This will be my fifth pair of Maui Jum Kahunas. Yes. I usually lose them. I think most people don't list them as lost and found when they find them. The optics are great! The style is stylish and sporty. The optics are unparalleled, especially in Florida. I'm also getting a bronze pair and I'm sure they will be just as good. I have had the same pair of Maui Jims before and loved them but they seemed very cheap and unreliable. I am very dissatisfied and will be sending them back. The triple case is garbage. If they were genuine, their quality has deteriorated drastically since I last owned a pair.

Maui Jim Kahuna sunglasses are worth every penny. The fit feels personal and the style is stylish with a touch of zing. They are great for eliminating glare and providing contrast in bright sunlight, as well as enhancing lighting on cloudy days. If you like or are used to plastic sunglasses, you may find them heavy and the nose pads may bother you. Plus, once you put them on, you transform into an island style.

Fantastic fit and UV protection. I've had Kahuna sunglasses for five years now and they are by far my favorite. I broke them a few times but Maui Jim fixed them quickly.

These are my second pair of Kahuna sunglasses. My first pair was lost many years ago. I replaced it with a nice Big Island (titanium frame) that looked similar. I almost came to the conclusion that Maui Jim and I were lifelong friends. The glass is beautiful, the color saturation on the road and while driving is top notch. The flip case is still questionable but I like it as I can put it in my pocket and it doesn't have much bulge so I didn't have to lug around my old cases. I use this case…

So 3 stars in the rating isn't for sunglasses. This is my second pair of kahunas so I love them and I also have 2 pairs of castaways. Was disappointed to see they no longer come with the better beige hard cases or cleaning pouches. Instead, you get a cheap foldable black case and a thin cleaning cloth. Come on folks, quality is what sets you apart from the competition and that should include accessories.

I love these sunglasses. I've had the same pair for over 10 years. At one point I scratched one of the lenses and sent Jim to Maui for a replacement. I sent a lens fee and a $10 handling fee. When I got them back there was a note in the box from the mechanic saying the frame was also scratched so they went ahead and replaced it along with the hinges (new springs) and also free of charge as a thank you for being a customer.

These Maui Jim glasses are AMAZING! Fresh, clean even on a rainy day. The contrast of colors with their new technology is unmatched. I've had Revos, Raybans, Oakleys etc and they don't come close to the overall quality. This is my first pair and I love it. I've used them on the golf course, on the beach, in the woods, on the boat and even at baseball games and my eyes feel rested and not tired (which usually comes from squinting). Worth every penny.
