Best choice for large models Noggins

Maui Jim is a renowned manufacturer of sunglasses. Great quality, great service, great selection. This is my second banyan set. The sturdy frame and slightly longer lenses fit my large head better than anything I've had in the past. Bravo!

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Ease of maintenance

The Maui Jim HT lens is great for golfing!

I've had Maui Jim sunglasses since the 90's and they have always been my favorite pair of sunglasses. Just tried HT lenses at Banyans for the first time and they are great for golf! My usual ones are gray colored banyans, which are great for bright, sunny days.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • I can't remember but there was something

Gold standard for sunglasses

My third pair of sunglasses in about 20 years. I use them for cycling, running, anything in the sun. Blocks all UV rays and polarizes. The silicone pads do not slip over the bridge of the nose or behind the ears. They have excellent coverage that lasts all year round. My only comment is that this year Maui changed the case from a zippered case to a triangular foldable case, which is worse. Please change again!

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons
  • Not as thick as others

Great sunglasses, terrible arch support.

I don't think I understand why I was asked if these sunglasses provided good arch support. Of course not! When I tested their arch support skills under my 230 pound weight, they straightened up quite easily and bumped the bottom of my foot. The feeling was very uncomfortable. My bow is a bit bruised from biting the bridge of my nose, but I think I'll heal easier than the sunglasses.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • So far so good

The best sunglasses you will ever buy.

I knew what I was buying, they replaced an identical pair that were around 10-13 years old with daily use, it was about time. I can tell you these are real Maui Jims - so if you're as curious as I am, rest assured they're real. Things I don't like: The new sunglasses box design and they now come with a cleaning cloth instead of a pouch. This is Maui Jim, not Revain. I miss the bag but I have another pair or two. The best sunglasses you will ever buy for boating/fishing and driving, reducing…

Maui Jim sunglasses

I bought these sunglasses from Revain, no problem with shipping and packaging. They arrived on time and looked just like the picture. This is the third Maui Jim sunglass I own. They're a bit more expensive, but you definitely get what you pay for. They are polarized and have a greenish tint on the lenses, allowing you to see much more clearly both in the sunshine and when driving. The fit is very good and they are not bulky nor big for a person with an average face. Overall these are great…

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • Everything is fine

Excellent sunglasses. In fact, special polarized lenses make a difference for me. I have eye damage where glare is a big problem. I can go outside on a clear day and have no problems. They were reportedly built to combat the worst ocean glare in the Caribbean. As far as I can tell they work as advertised. I've had a few of these for several years. The only downside is that you now get cheaper leather and what looks like a heavy cardboard or plastic case. You used to get a soft cloth case and a…

Best sunglasses I have ever owned

These are the best sunglasses I have ever owned. I have a large bowler hat and I have a hard time finding the right sunglasses. Most of the ones I tried sat too high on my face. My previous favorites have been Oakley M. Maui Jim's frames jumped up. Incredible clarity, great fit, super light, super strong. Low weight and non-slip but unobtrusive temples make the glasses set very practical. I love that they come with a very high quality hard case and a soft case inside. I keep them…
