Decent sound. not too loud unless you turn it on, and no noticeable hiss or distortion. The price is reasonable. You are not comfortable. too small for an adult head, and the ends of the headband stick out of the rail and dig into your ear or head. The foam padding would have sufficed had it not been for the sizing issue putting too much pressure on the earbuds, causing them to be quite noticeable on the ears. It's probably good for kids or the elderly with small heads. I wear a size 7 hat so…

Good for non-critical listening

SEE UPDATE BELOW AND PHOTO Bought these to listen to radio news on my computer. They do a good job if you expect decent sound for music, spend more and get real headphones. The frequency range is not as wide as stated on the packaging. Don't expect much for $6. The cable comes out on the left side where my processor is so the cables don't get in my way. They're fine for what I use them for, if they last a year I'm happy. UPDATE: Less than two hours later, the regulator tab broke. I wore them…

Definitely worth the price

I couldn't find anything better for the price - I'm totally satisfied with these little headphones and would happily order another set if I think I need them. The cord is short, yes, but it keeps them from getting tangled underfoot - and I totally agree. These little puppies will work with my computer, phone, portable DVD player, audio cassette recorder, etc. without trying to damage them and I haven't found a job they wouldn't do. Are they evil or something? No, but I never expected or paid…

Pros
  • Decent performance

Great headphones for both kids and adults

My child's school provided a pair of these headphones and they are a lot better than the bulky DJ style Bluetooth headphones I originally bought for my child . I bought these to replace my child's original pair as my child lost one of the soft ear pads. After a few weeks without a soft case, the speaker mechanism itself fell out of its mount, dangling from two audio cables, but we were able to snap it back in place. After wearing them like this for a few more weeks I ordered them hoping they…

Great for classroom computers!

I work in a high school for children with special needs. We have 2 autistic boys in our room who spend their time every day on the computer watching clips from various children's movies and TV shows. They usually watch the same clip over and over again. It gets very annoying and noisy when playing 2 different soundtracks at the same time. They used headphones when watching their videos, but they broke before the holidays. After a week without headphones I decided to order them for her. I…

We bought these headphones for my son to take to school to use with their laptops. They lasted from August to November so I think $3 was well spent. They broke in half on the first drop so you can see you get what you pay for. If they weren't optional items I would buy another set now as they are about to go back to school with them. However, I need to spend at least $25 before I can buy another set. it's a little annoying. Fortunately, we are approaching the Christmas season. I'll find an…
