Maxell 190338 Lightweight Comfortable Interchangable Review

I bought 2 sets of these headphones and use them for my grandchildren aged 7 and 12. They find them very convenient and use them to play games and watch programs on iPhone, iPad and computers. It's nice that you can change the color of the capital letters to tell who owns who. I like that they don't turn the volume up too high and can damage your hearing. Ideal for plane flights etc.

I bought these for my 4 year old as I didn't want him listening to music too loud. I think they shouldn't be too loud but I still wonder if they are too loud as he tends to crank them all the way up. I wish there was parental controls to further limit the volume to what you consider normal. But perhaps such technology does not exist. What do I know?

I bought several different earphones for my 5 year old daughter for kindergarten but they didn't fit her ears. Her teacher sent a letter home asking her to do something better. They fit great; and my child can choose which color he prefers. I just asked her how she likes them and she asked if she could change the rims from blue to silver. Fun for them and best of all: THEY FIT.

I bought these because of the volume limit as they were for my 5 year old daughter to use at school and with her tablet. Turns out they don't actually "limit the volume" but more like "turn down the volume". You should use a resistor or something to turn the overall volume down, not limit it to a safe level. I just checked them out after my daughter complained on a trip that they weren't working. When I turn up the volume on her tablet or on my computer, I can barely hear any sound through her.

We bought two pairs of these headphones, one for each of our children. We loved that they come with inserts in three different colors (Grey, Pink, Blue) so they can tell which is theirs. Additional pluses: The size is perfect for toddlers and toddlers, and they turn down the maximum volume to reduce the risk of hearing damage.
