Not what I expected

The tester couldn't test my 7 pin connector properly. auxiliary food; Indicator; Emergency flashers and brake releases when triggered were demonstrated without incident. The tester didn't show the left and right brake lights, which surprised me since the brake light goes through the same pin as the turn signals. Would not recommend this product.

Hardly works with tools and equipment

Great concept but only 12 volt light is on. Of course, at first I thought maybe I had a short in the wiring harness or my fuses had blown. Of course I took it to the dealer to check it out and they pulled out the SAME tester! So did he! And that's how I found out that my truck has a feature to check the lights when my trailer is plugged in. broken - intermittent display LT - but fixable with soldering iron

We buy testers to help us find problems, not to magnify them. On the other hand, the device was designed in such a way that it can be easily disassembled for repair. From the looks of it, the LEDs are soldered onto a tiny circuit board that appears to have been soldered entirely by hand. One of the surface mount resistors was cold soldered.
