Does not glow at night

Unlike many (most?) of them, this version doesn't have large indicator lights to brighten up a dark room. There is only a small one that can be wrapped with electrical tape. Hooray.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Neutral

Just make sure you screw it into the wall and you're done!

I made the lazy mistake of not doing this and every time I unplugged the cable I plugged in the whole adapter came out. She is good now. I love her. Finally I can use three night lights, two fans and a sewing machine and charge my phone at the same time lol.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Check sockets before buying!

Product plugs into the bottom of a double tier socket and blocks another socket. This may not be an issue for everyone, but in our house the bottom outlet is controlled by a wall switch - we usually put lights in there so we can turn them all on at once from the wall switch - but that means either the wall switch has to stay on all the time, otherwise the adapter will turn off when the wall switch is turned off. So not very useful for my purposes.

Pros
  • Wide range
Cons
  • Socket required

Great for the bathroom

I needed something that would help me connect all the electrical appliances we use in the bathroom these days and also charge my face brush and it's perfect! I even used it to charge my Kindle. This particular plug used to have a decorative socket cover. I took it off and replaced it with one of the regular plastic types and then screwed it in the middle. I have a GFCI switch, so I didn't have a socket with no screw in the middle. (I think I described it correctly.)

Pros
  • Even the elderly can understand
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Cons

Great for my needs.

This is exactly what I needed. Additional ports were required, but basically 2 USB charging ports were needed as much if not more. I bought 2 of these and put one in the living room and one in the bedroom. I charge my cell phone and GPS downstairs and my cell phone and iPod upstairs. It's great to have 2 USB charging ports at the same pace.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Nothing
