Check sockets before buying!
The device is plugged into a floor socket at the bottom and blocks another socket. This might not be an issue for everyone, but in our house the bottom outlet is controlled by a wall switch - we usually put lights in there so we can turn them all on at once from the wall switch - but that means either the wall switch has to stay on all the time, otherwise the adapter will turn off when the wall switch is turned off. So not very useful for my purposes.
