MaxxMMA Heavy Adjustable Speed Platform Review

Some platforms cost close to $1,000 and are amazing. But here's a 5-star option for your home gym. It's amazing quality and after almost 6 months of use it's just as good as the day I bought it. Haven't changed anything since installation. (By the way, I installed it myself because I really wanted to use it. Don't do it.) I figured the bag of peanuts that came with it was a toss and I'd spend another fifty bucks on the Reyes bag. . But her little purse is fine too.

Bought because it's not junk, thin wood and brackets didn't look that sparse. I would say affordable but it did NOT come with a pump as advertised. They could also slightly better size the metal tubes for the tube that slides up and down for height adjustment. Difficult to keep level when raising and lowering, so you'll need to push one side back a bit and make sure it's straight before tightening. Overall a great product. However, when machining and welding locking handles, the manufacturer did not clean the threads. So I decided to do it myself with a tap and cut off the square tube that was getting in the way of the hole because they welded on the middle nut. After the inconvenience, I installed it and enjoy a very reliable product. This speedbag platform is an extremely well built and durable piece of equipment that would typically cost a lot more money to get the same quality and response. It comes with everything needed for assembly but lacks the wall brackets and wall mount screws required for installation.
