Thin ribbon for embellishment and decoration

If I had used this ribbon for anything other than sashes for royal candidates I probably would have been happier; but that's what I used it for and it's a very thin ribbon and the edges are a bit "lettuce". I managed to iron the edges, but after wearing it once it's starting to "lettuce" again. I stroked the letters and it worked; They had no rise at all, which was a problem with other bands.

Pros
  • Available in other widths and colors
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

You get what you pay for!

I needed a lot of cheap red tape that could be draped so I didn't need wire edge tape. This is a lightweight, very inexpensive tape and that's exactly what you get! It's not a pretty satin ribbon so I wouldn't use it where it could be seen up close unless you're looking for a better quality ribbon. We have a large chandelier with many curved arms hanging from the covered street entrance. I was going to drape my arms in red ribbon for Christmas so that fit the bill!

Pros
  • 3 inches to 30 yards
Cons
  • I'll write back

Thinner than expected

I'm not a 'tape expert' so I just assumed all tapes were a bit thick. I was wrong! This tape is pretty flimsy and cheap. I added it to the dress as a "belt" but it stretched all night. It also wasn't thick enough to make a pretty bow at the back of the dress. I tried making double sided tape by joining the two pieces together and using edge tape and while that was fine you have to be very careful. The tape becomes wavy due to heat. It still wasn't strong enough for the bow to look good, so I…

Pros
  • 100% nylon
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors

I use LOTS of tape from at least a dozen suppliers. I used cheap stuff at $150 a roll. So I know the band. This is by far the worst quality tape I've ever bought. First, it's one-sided, which is illogical with such breadth. Second, oblique haircut, that is, wavy, not flat. Thirdly, it is not the color of champagne at all, but golden. My spool had a meter seam, so I expect a lot of wasted material when I encounter seams every few meters. Don't waste money.

Pros
  • 3 inches at 30 yards
Cons
  • thin
