I have been buying this for many years but stopped wearing makeup in the first half of our pandemic. However, appointments are getting busier - almost every day - so I wear eye makeup to daytime appointments and just can't go to bed with it on, so Maybelline Eye Makeup Remover does the trick for me. By the way, a week ago when applying eyeliner, I had a strong shaking and obviously jumped, so a little eyeliner got under the eyelashes - on the lower part of the upper eyelid. Oh! I kept holding…

I wanted to say something bad about the effectiveness of this product but THEN I read the instructions. Oops. You see, I brushed off my eye makeup and not much happened (compared to the oil version, of course). The instructions say to briefly hold the remover on the eye (with a cotton swab) and then *then* wipe off the makeup. I just have to be patient, and that's not exactly how I feel at the end of the day when I just want my makeup to magically wash off. But it works better this way.

I've been a fan of Maybelline's non-greasy make-up removers for years. I've tried others and my eyeliner didn't come off and made my eyes and face messy. It primarily depends on the makeup you use. I think it should be compatible. The scent is mild and I am allergic to many fragrances and additives. Look for the cheapest price. It's best to buy two at the same time.

This is a joke, seriously, it doesn't do anything with my mascara. Let's put it into perspective: I'm not a makeup lover or someone who loves to apply tons of mascara. I'm legally low maintenance and just do it but it did absolutely nothing, had to rub my eyes and I just didn't like it. Someone told me to try coconut oil because it's natural, but I hated the mental film it left and I still had to rub my eyes. The only thing that worked was Neutrogena.

I have it in my subscription and I'm saving. It's not the best eye makeup remover I've ever used, but I applied a little to my magic eraser (it's amazing) and it removed the last drops of waterproof mascara and eyeliner without leaving a greasy residue . For the price I think it's a good option. When I'm not using the magic eraser it takes a little longer for the eye products to break down, but it works.

I have no idea what people are talking about when they say the oil free version removes waterproof makeup. Doesn't even remove waterproof mascara. I didn't expect it to be magical and take everything off in one fell swoop, but I expected it to actually work. I was looking for something easy on the eyes, but seriously, water works better. Even after washing my face and removing most of the makeup, the rest of the mascara still wouldn't wash off. No wonder it's so cheap.

I've been using this oil-free makeup remover for decades now. Perfectly removes eye make-up without leaving any traces. This blue bottle is designed to remove non-waterproof makeup. It's great to get rid of mascara and eyeshadow. I've tried very expensive makeup removers, but nothing works like this inexpensive Maybelline product. If you need a waterproof makeup remover, buy a pink bottle.
