This collar will not open to attach to your dog. You need to put it on the face of the head of the ears and almost even get it on the neck. Certainly not my favourite. There are no instructions for proper use. I have an English Mastiff so she has a big head and is full of rolls. This product was not a good choice.

Very dissatisfied with this needle. Just received it yesterday, fitted it properly for my dog and used it on a walk with my 50lb Dalmatian this morning. It fell apart as we only went TWICE. The prong attached to the chain is very loose and does not fit well. Almost cost me a dog's life. Low quality.

My dog started pulling when he saw a squirrel and I heard a click and then he ran down the street chasing the squirrel. He was almost hit by cars several times and took ten minutes to catch him. So anyone who wants to get a collar for their strong dog avoids them like the plague because they can't even handle a 55 pound Rottweiler.

First off, this is a well made training collar. Although I haven't had a chance to use it. I mistakenly thought my dog was medium, he's more of a medium/small size. It would be too big even after removing some links. The collar and links are sized more for larger dogs so I sent it back. I would like this to be done in a slightly smaller version. I would buy one in a heartbeat.

This collar is very effective for teaching a dog, especially a large one, to walk on a leash. The inner metal parts are covered with a rubber pad so that they cannot tear the skin. However, they fall off easily and replacement pads should be included with the collar. I had some difficulty getting this on and off on my dog who is very large although I think I ordered the largest size. I do not consider it necessary to continue using the collar after training the dog, except in exceptional cases.

I fitted the plastic caps to our 8 month old Rottweiler pup's points and collar. He is a bull headed pup and can often pull me where he wants to go. He broke free, reached the end of the leash, and stopped quickly as the collar put a little pressure on his neck as he moved. I can walk with one finger without holding onto it with all my strength. I wish the prongs were shorter as its fur is short, the long prongs keep the chain an inch from its fur and it looks like a shiny metal thing around…
