Ideal for cutting, scraping or removing metal softer than the cutting edge of the chisel. True industrial grade tool. Alloy steel for hardness and durability. A Versatile Industrial Chisel That Gets the Job Done

We recently purchased a chisel from the Industrial and Scientific category for a project and we're glad that we chose the Mayhew Select 7 Inch Chisel. Based on our own experience, this tool lived up to its promise of being durable, versatile, and easy to handle. We were able to use it on various materials without it breaking or losing its sharpness. The only downside we encountered was that it's a bit heavy for delicate tasks, but it's not something that would affect its overall performance.

Poor quality good for chisels

Worked but got a crooked edge and dulled fairly quickly, 1mm 304 stainless steel cut off If I didn't have a grinder and wheel to hand it would be useless.
