The base got stuck with a garbage bottle, but with water at the bottom of the base, fell off and broke. Somewhat weak and bad design. The base should be heavier and stronger. It was made from soft clay. The worst thing is that I can't even find a replacement part. I have contacted the company. They sent me a link to order but the link shows it's been out of stock for a month.

I've started using Mayu and I don't understand why I haven't already. I try to drink mostly water and am very sensitive to different tastes in the water. The mug is not only beautiful, I even like to drink more and I am very happy that it is so easy. The package itself arrived on time, there is a simple and understandable instruction manual. I saw one of these in an online video and had to try it myself. I love the beautiful, sleek design and find the spinning water really mesmerizing. I keep it at home next to my work place and also wear it to special occasions to guarantee a conversation! The first one they sent me was defective and it was a brown J swirl instead of the teal swirl I ordered. They seemed happy to replace the carafe first and then the base as both were defective. They said they have released an updated version and will be sending it.
