are great I bought another pair. I have bad ankles and they hold them tight, but mine swelled up at times and hurt from slight compression. I sometimes have problems with the sole of my foot due to the elastic wrapping around the toe bones, but mostly it's fine.

Excellent support. This is my second. The first began to crumble. Do not put it in the dryer while washing. The gel supports will be glued in place and the heat will eventually melt the glue. Also, it's a great support. I run 3 miles a day, 6 days a week and they take my pain away. Eventually I'll need another ankle surgery but for now it's helping me walk.

Just the perfect support I need, about 50% more pressure than a pair of compression stockings, and I don't just mean OTC socks, I mean genuine McDavid compression stockings. The additional cushion is placed in the appropriate places and ensures a perfect fit. Because the pads are the same on the left and right, this is good for any ankle. The size corresponds to the size according to the McDavid size chart.
