Sealing Wax: Sewing Supplies

Sealing Wax has been used for centuries. The modern version is just as easy to use and much more consistent. Delivered on time and as agreed. Very good experience.

Wicks do not glow best in Adhesive Waxing

The wax is nice and light in colour. But the wicks don't light up to melt the wax and you have to melt it yourself. Tried several sticks of both colors that I bought.

Pros
  • is understandable even in the old
Cons
  • matte packaging

The bright blue color is easy to print on.

This "wax" is more like a plastic fill, works well and takes my impressions as expected. You have to maneuver the wick to avoid smoky spots, but that seems to apply to most sealing waxes.

Pros
  • Easy install
Cons
  • Fits

These do not melt: Kraft

Attention buyers, you should have listened to the reviews here. It is not wax but a plastic texture. Melted drop by drop. not enough to create an even wax seal. Do yourself a favor and buy another brand and use wax beads. It's easier, cleaner and safer.

Pros
  • Sequins
Cons
  • Almost everything is

Not correct. on Kraft

The wick burns out very quickly and does not give off enough heat to melt the wax "wax". I tried lightening the process with a lighter but the wax burned off and discolored the print. And burning wax was dropped on the map, which is definitely dangerous. The print in this photo must be completely white.

Pros
  • ☆ Size of each wax stick: 0.45 x 0.45 x 3.6 inch (1.1 x 1.1 x 9 cm)
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

Worked for Wax Beginners

I have no idea about sealing wax, but the wicks are easy to erase. Sometimes I had to hold the flame on the wick to melt enough wax for the wick to burn. Not so hot what's up. The photo shows my first attempt and it wasn't difficult - just let the wax cool a bit before stamping.

Pros
  • ☆ Enjoy using retro and old fashioned methods to decorate/decorate invitation letters or gift wrap.
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

Terrible Sealing Wax - Adhesives

I used to use red sealing wax SH but wanted to change the color to something blue. I found this online and it had good reviews. I lit the wick the first time and it didn't burn long enough to melt the wax on the envelope. I tried holding the lighter on the wick to melt the wax by hand but was only able to light the whole candle. Subsequent application had the same effect. When I managed to get the wax to drip off, it stuck to my seal and didn't leave a clear image after the seal was removed…

Pros
  • ☆Simply set the wax on fire and immediately drip the wax onto an envelope or gift card for convenient sealing.
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors
