I've read other reviews about fit issues and noticed that others say it's easier to insert certain tabs first if they don't fit. Keep in mind that the X1 Yoga 3rd Gen cannot switch to full tablet mode while wearing this case as both the top cover of the laptop and the bottom do not have enough space. Looks great but doesn't fit my 4th gen model. I checked the Q&A before ordering and someone said they did, so I bought it. However, the laptop provided at work (4th gen) does not fit - the case is about 1/2 inch wider than the 4th gen laptop I have. I hope to get it when the new case model is released!

Does what it's supposed to, closes my laptop. Fits well but I have a Lenovo x1 Yoga and can't fully open the laptop to use it in tablet mode with a case. I was kind of expecting it, but still a bit disappointed. My biggest complaint is that it's not opaque. The pink is pretty but when I put it on my laptop it looks more red because you can see through it. My laptop is silver but I think it would look much worse with black. Overall good but won't buy again.

Using this case will greatly save your Thinkpad x1 Yoga from yoga. In one case, you cannot fold the screen all the way back without much resistance. While you can get it to work, it puts unnecessary stress on your laptop's hinges, which can cause them to fail eventually. It looks like the best thing you can do for this laptop would be to put on a scratch resistant vinyl sleeve and then have a laptop sleeve when not in use. Anything else detracts from some of the features you paid for.

In general, the cover isn't bad, but there are a few flaws that bother me. FIT: The case slips on and off easily and is easy to install. It's flush with most of the body and feels good. However, due to the construction of the bottom (small feet/part that snaps onto the device) the laptop does not close completely (see photo).
