It was extremely easy to use. The frame was sent in a well packed safety box and when you take it out there is a cardboard border on the outside of the frame. Take it off and it has a command strip inside that you can peel off and attach to the velcro in the frame. Align the picture where you want it placed in the frame, and then click the picture. This is a beautiful and inexpensive canvas picture frame stretched over a frame. It is the right size and looks well combined. Feels like solid wood or wood composite rather than plastic. The color is satin black, as in the photos in the description. Overall I'm happy with this frame. I gave one star for two reasons. 1 - The description says there are screws to fix it, but there weren't any. The kit included hook and loop parts for attaching to the pattern, but that's not ideal for my purposes.
