I've never come across frames like this but got the idea while looking for something to frame my paint for your favorite picture made with a twist in painting. That looks great. So far it's working great and is a lot cheaper than other options I've found online ($32, $40, or $80 for the same style and frame size made from the same material or wood). I still need to attach the velcro to the back of the canvas as instructed. I love that the frame design leaves the front of my canvas completely open and allows you to see the painted sides of the canvas. it lets my painting breathe. I'd like a little padding on each of the inside edges of the frame to ensure my image is centered. I later realized that I could achieve this by folding a penny and a quarter, or a combination of the same two coins, along each edge.
