I got these for the art cards that came with my copy of Shadow of the Tomb Raider as I didn't want to stick them directly to the wall. They're perfect for maps and I love that they preload. You can use them as desk frames as there is a piece on the back for that, but I like to wall mount my frames so I left them alone. I've bought dozens of these for various postcards and they always look great. They let the frame dominate as the black plastic frame is very thin. Also, the black plastic is relatively matte (compared to glossy), so it doesn't look cheap at all.
