MDesign Kitchen Protector Quick Draining Review

Sink guard protects the sink well from damage but is flimsy. When washing dishes, food must not go through the holes or under the mat, the mat must be lifted to allow food to enter the dispenser. We just thought it would be raised a little more.

The short edges of the sink saddle curl right out of the box and don't lay flat. I've tried flattening them out under a heavy wooden cutting board on the counter overnight, but they still curl up. My second issue with this set is that I made a curry platter the other day and when I washed the dishes and pots it stained the carpet at the bottom of the sink with saffron and turmeric spices. I'll switch to metal grates on the bottom of the sink and a hard plastic holder for brushes and sponges…

Man it shouldn't be that hard! I've had it for over 2 months and they still smell disgusting! Mat: Squares that are too small won't let food through. The protrusions on the underside are so small that the coffee grounds cannot even go underneath. Saddle mat: too small squares. The suction cups don't hold. It's like it was done upside down... the top band has grooves that naturally collect dirt. Usually the grooves are on the side of the sink to keep it dry underneath...this one catches water…
