🚿 mDesign Graphite Gray Metal Over Shower Door Towel Rack Holder - Storage Organizer Bar for Hanging Washcloths, Bath, Hand, Face & Fingertip Towels with Chrome Finials Review

This towel rail was advertised as being above the shower door. The hangers are too big for it and it falls off when the towel is removed. I added styrofoam and mounting screws to make it more stable but it looks awful.

Paint chipped I need it ASAP so I'm storing and repainting but I DO NOT RECOMMEND this product. Does NOT look like a delivery accident. Poor quality control somewhere in the chain before shipping. It is also advertised for hanging over the shower door, however the hanging brackets are much wider than the width of the shower door, more like a bathroom door. Drone!

Item arrived partially disassembled, no assembly instructions. Either the product arrived damaged (most likely there was no packaging, just a plastic bag) or the assembly was supposed to be easy (if so, why was it partially assembled?) The assembly consisted of screwing some parts together, but the screw didn't have a screwdriver hole. It was completely smooth. I had to wrap my fingers in tape to twist it with my hands. I like the look and quality of this towel rail. My only disappointment is that although it says so in the description, it really WAS NOT MADE TO HANG OVER A NORMAL INTERIOR DOOR. As you can see from the photos the hooks when placed over this door leave a gap of almost 3/4 inch. I've read other reviews mentioning that the bar was a little big for a door, but I didn't realize how big the gap would be. I could install a board to fill the gap, but that would be more obvious than just leaving things
