MDF Board 30 Pack Fibreboard Hardwood Review

They're smaller than I expected but it's my fault for not measuring beforehand. I bought them to make dioramas and book corners and they definitely seem sturdy enough for that. I wanted something that wouldn't bend in high winds but could still cut fairly easily with a utility knife since I don't have a power tool. This is fully compliant. 10/10 would buy again.

I am a model wargamer. For everything else I play Warhammer and I needed something strong enough to build terrain on. These pieces are a decent size, nice and strong, yet thin enough to be properly cut with a sharp hobby knife. I've done a few things with them, including bases for miniatures and some landscaping, and once I got the hang of it it was easy and useful. They soak up paint and glue without warping and are heavy enough to prevent tipping.

I am revising my original review saying it was unsuitable for a laser cutter. However, it can be used as it is HDF and NOT MDF. It will take more force to cut than 1/4" MDF and will char a little. This is a fairly consistent thickness of 1.9mm all around. I plan to use it mainly for small jigs for betting wooden coins, dice, etc. I was able to build a dollhouse bunk bed for my daughter and after sanding and painting the charred edges it came out pretty good.
