First let me comment on the latest addition to ribbons. Such a simple idea but it's a game changer for these tapes. They don't always move in space. I also find it very helpful to gradually change the color. Someone was concerned about these updates. I tip my hat to the invention of the "better mousetrap". The acquisition costs are also extremely economical.
