Temperature and humidity average at best

Ordered two and one was broken on arrival. I sent the defective device back for replacement and it works perfectly. The other one seems to be broken now too. I would probably spend more and hopefully get better quality next time.

Adjustable for testing, measuring and inspecting

I was taken aback at first because it said about 20 degrees higher than the actual temperature, but I just realized you can adjust it with a flat head screwdriver. (Even though it's in the title!) Now I'm happy and it works fine for my outdoor wood fired boiler.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Weight

Easy to install and easy to read

Bought this thermometer to keep track of my smoked meats during the post cook cycle. I drilled a hole in the top of the ice box and screwed it in slightly. This is just a reference tool to see what the temp is in the fridge while the meat is resting, but it works great.

Not even close to being good for testing, measuring and checking

I bought this thermometer knowing it wouldn't be an accurate thermometer at this price point. But I figured I could measure it with an accurate thermometer and get an accurate estimate of the actual reading. But it's everywhere. At lower temps, 120-140, it runs about 15 degrees lower than actual temps. At medium temperatures of 160-180 it is within 5 degrees of the actual temperature, and at high readings of 200-220 the needle does not rise as high, it stops moving. I think it's a defect. I…
