Review on MEASUREMAN Hot Water Bi-Metal Thermometer: Accurate Adjustable Dial for Range 0-250°F by Marcus Braunstein

I bought this thermometer knowing it wouldn't be an accurate thermometer at this price point. But I figured I could measure it with an accurate thermometer and get an accurate estimate of the actual reading. But it's everywhere. At lower temps, 120-140, it runs about 15 degrees lower than actual temps. At medium temperatures of 160-180 it is within 5 degrees of the actual temperature, and at high readings of 200-220 the needle does not rise as high, it stops moving. I think it's a defect. I asked to return it for another one and they told me to give them my personal phone number, uh no. I've had more than enough spam/telemarketing/calls, no thanks. So, who's interested in a free thermometer?
