📏 Household Stainless Micrometer for Precise Fraction Measurement Review

More than surprised given the cost and delivery. Came in a nice plastic case, the metal caliper seems to measure accurately, easy to use, love the fact that it also provides shot measurements.

I thought of the plastic version, but decided on the metal version. I'm glad I did. It's heavy in the hand, works exactly as intended, and gives clear and accurate readings. I'm not a professional carpenter so I don't need an overly expensive model. However, it is as close as possible to the professional model. I am satisfied and impressed with the overall quality and performance.

My latest calipers have grown legs and gone. They were very light and felt cheap. These calipers are very strong and balanced. Once in your hands, you will feel the quality inherent in these calipers. I also like knowing that I can get all 3 measurements with a simple push of a button. Additional features these calipers have over my old one are the auto-on feature and fractional reading. Now I'm keeping this device under wraps.

I wanted super precise calipers and they are actually too precise for my needs. The parts I measured were accurate to less than 1/32 of an inch, and I had to round to the nearest large fraction, which was excruciating. but in decimals. So you can see 1.3 inches, but that didn't work for me. Finally, after zeroing, the reading scale on the slide did not match the reading on the display.
