🔌 Traeger Meat Probe Replacement (2 Pack) - Compatible with Pro Controller, 3.5 MM Plug Review

The first probe I tried didn't work at all. The second probe was only used twice and no longer works either. I do not recommend.

Purchased on 25th March. The first probe worked for about a week. Tired of the second probe today. worked 10 minutes. I do not recommend this product.

Both items did not work and were not used in my Traeger grill. I bought two from a trusted retailer, they work. The bad thing about online shopping at Amazon. It is impossible to return things from the landfill!

I use my Traeger Timberline more than I don't. The probe that came with the kit had been owned for less than a year and was dusty. Have two of these, they work great. Nice to have a backup.

I bought these to replace one of the temperature sensors that broke on my Traeger grill. I was happy with the price and it records the same temperature. like the original when I put them both in the same piece of meat.

Works great. But like all the others I've tried, you seem to need to protect the wires in the metal shield from the Treager's high heat. Maybe with aluminum foil or a small piece of tin if it crosses the hole in the side and the Treager heatsink.

I used the first sensor last week and got a sensor error in the middle of my 6 hour cook on my Traeger Ironwood. I was halfway through my 2 hour cook today, flipped the pork tenderloin and got a sensor error on the second sensor. The error seemed to occur when the "High Temp" wire coating hits the metal grid during cooking. Both probes are now in the trash. Save money and buy something else.
