The compression shorts are not super tight and the shorts are not made of the material I expected but still good shorts. The color doesn't match the picture either. It was brown/dark brown but was described as desert khaki. One more thing: the cell phone pocket of the compression shorts is on the front of the leg, not on the side as shown in the picture.

bought on a whim, the price was right and the reviews looked good. just received them and they fit as expected, use the measuring guide in the pictures. My only issue with them is with my pair, the compression shorts are slightly longer than the outer shell. Not a big deal as my legs are a bit bigger they will probably lift a bit and stay hidden. Will buy more if they hold up after a few workouts and trips to the pool. I will update. Until then I would recommend these shorts!

Obviously these shorts are two piece and my problem is the lining. The actual short is fine and looks good. But the inner part, which is an insert, is not designed very well. It's only stitched down the middle, making it very uncomfortable for the men it's supposedly intended for. Because of this design flaw, the shorts don't fit well and constantly slide down. Pretty to look at, but impractical for runners. Biggest problem: the middle seam on the lining (see picture). So either 3 layers or look down the middle line.
