The shoes look the same as in the picture. The material is very soft and cuddly. They are perfect for my toddler who is learning to walk. The toe area is rounded and leaves room to spread the fingers. Good for chubby legs.

My 11 month old granddaughter loves these shoes, they are the only ones she will practice walking in. Easy to put on and take off - Velcro seems durable. Does not slip, fits snugly to the bottom of the shoe. And so charming!

I've been looking for a first pair of shoes for my 8 month old granddaughter for a long time. These shoes fit her perfectly. They are well made, soft and flexible, but have a sole that prevents them from slipping and falling when standing and walking. They fit well and are true to size. I highly recommend this product. My child has been wearing them for about a month now you can see the wear and tear on the shoes. You don't get what you pay for the best quality but they are comfortable and I think kids outgrow their shoes quickly so it depends on what you like. The shoes are very cute, I just had to buy a size down because the ones I originally received were huge. The problem with boots is that the insert inside the boot doesn't stay on the sole of the boot. It shifts sideways which is why my child walks with a very flat foot. Babies don't have stable, strong feet, so the fact that the insole of the shoe slides sideways makes their feet much more unstable and poorly placed.
