🐱 MECOOL Cat Scratcher: 3PCS Reversible Corrugated Cardboard with Catnip, Scratch Lounge Bed and Scratch Box Review

My cats scratched my new bedroom carpet so I tried to offer them a better option. Both use it! Our cardboard comes upside down with a curved side, there is also a flat side. There are 3 cardboard scratching posts in the kit, I took one out to fit in the box. They also seem to like catnip. One thing to note, I thought the color was gray but it's actually a safe/seafoam green. That's a good color.

We have several cats and need more scratching posts. One cat has moved to the cover and the scratching post, but shares them from time to time, so the other scratching posts lie loosely on the floor until we find more suitable covers. Very happy with these scrapers. Our cats also have some expensive non-cardboard scratching posts and don't use them so they were perfect for us.

Please note the dimensions before purchasing. I was shocked when I received it. I have a medium sized adult cat. As he settled into this impossibly tight box, its sides literally bulged outward. It's quite funny to look at, but for the sake of this review it has to be noted that while this box can happily hold two kittens, its almost comical narrowness does NOT fit a medium-sized cat's body. knows!

These are absolutely the best scratching posts I have found. The best thing about them is that they're deeper than most, so any bits they tear off stay in the box and the floor around them doesn't get dirty. I also love that you have interchangeable pads that are double sided like you have 6 scratch boxes! If I had to make an offer I would offer more color/design options on the outer box but the one you get looks nice. I will be ordering more for other rooms in the house.

Bought to replace another brand of cardboard trays which my cats loved. It only had one scratch layer and has barely survived a year of use. This one is MUCH better and surprisingly wears very little after a full year. The box itself is still in perfect condition.
