🔌 Medela Symphony Car Lighter Adapter Review

I was a little hesitant to purchase this adapter after reading other reviewers' issues of low pump pressure versus using a wall outlet and the unit didn't work at all. Luckily I had no problems, however I had to force it into the cigarette lighter socket than I would with an iPhone charger. The air pressure was fine and allowed my Medela Symphony to get the job done during the 1800 mile journey.

Does the job including powering symphony on disk. However, this is a pain. The plug does not fit well into the pump's DC outlet. Once you insert it, it will slide out if the pump is misaligned. My Symphony normally has a display that says "Symphony 2.0" but with the car adapter it only shows the pump level making it appear as if it is not getting power when in fact it is. I didn't notice any loss of suction, I was able to inflate my average amount while riding.

. I was hesitant when this arrived because it had instructions to check for a "blown fuse". When I order something, I want to know it's in perfect condition and I don't have to look for faults. Unfortunately I had to use this guide as the adapter didn't work. The problem wasn't a blown fuse, and now I've paid over $20 to own something completely nonfunctional. I booked this in advance for a trip so only found out it was out of order after the return deadline.
