A beveled step-down design allows plugs to be fully connected, even when bulky cases are on your device. Built with dual-shielding, high-quality polished metal connectors and corrosion-resistant gold-plated 3.5mm connectors. The absolute best just got better!

Those were my favorite cables many years ago. Eventually, Mediabridge stopped producing such models. Now they're back in production and the cables are even better! The cable shield is thicker and the heads feel better attached. And the price looks even cheaper. The color convinced me. Mediabridge does it again.

Pros
  • Not only usable for the intended purpose
Cons
  • Negative impression

DAC to Headphones in AV Accessories

Like all Mediabridge cables I bought to upgrade from OME for home stereo, theatre. I stayed with this brand because of the consistent quality. This cable is for my Edifier H880 connected to my Fiio X5 DAC. I looked for a longer cable than the OEM cable and what I got was an audible improvement in the detail and spaciousness of the soundstage. The price is worth it.

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

Great 3.5mm extension cable!

This is a great and well made cable. Good construction, shielding, gold-plated plugs/sockets. I like 90 degrees on one end for spacing. Mediabridge really knows its stuff when it comes to cables. When I need a cable, the first thing I do is see if Mediabridge has what I need. I have several other types of speaker cable, Cat5e, RCA, Toslink and others from Mediabridge and they always have good quality products.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • So far so good

1 Year Review - Stereo Jack Cable

I've waited a long time to write a review on this as other cables have failed in the meantime. I use this daily to control my computer's headphones and so far it's working as expected. The rubber is of good quality and has withstood multiple bites from my Chihuahua. A year later it still works great. Connections are solid, yet come home with a satisfying "click". I would buy it again and definitely because of the terrible Revain base cable which failed after a month.

  • Very Impressive

Nice try. Unfortunately no points.

First, the design is bad. Apparently the manufacturer doesn't understand that the real PURPOSE of the rectangular cable is that it doesn't protrude that far from the device. This one sticks out as much or even more than all of my straight cables! What sense? But it gets worse. Protective covers are placed on each connector. The one at the 90 degree end couldn't slide off. Finally put on pliers and pull. The fork broke. Gave them back. Don't waste your time with this product that looks good on…

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • There are nuances

Will not fit many 3.5mm straight plug headphones

I don't want to criticize the quality of the product as it is good and I have bought this brand in the past. My review concerns the design and fit issues that made it completely unusable. If you have headphones that accept a 3.5mm plug plugged directly into the headphones (I use the V-Moda M100 Crossfade), the design of this cable prohibits its use. at the base of the 3.5mm jack, essentially making it impossible to connect the 3.5mm jack. That's normal for the 90 degree part, but totally…

Beware with housing for t50rp users

I used this cable with the intention of replacing the t50rp cable. I was initially disappointed with this cable as the sound was distorted when I plugged the straight end into my headphones and the straight end into my amp. I then swapped the ends and found that the source of the distortion was that the square end could not properly connect to the headphones because the silver-grey housing was covering the jack too much. Comparing both ends, the rectangular housing covers the plug about one…

Very good cable for cables and connections

I bought this cable to use with my Fostex rp20rp mk3 phones. The cable fits snugly into the cable jack on the phones, but after using them for a while I noticed some cut outs on the right side shell so I filed the right corner on the phones a bit to get a better connection (enough room) As long as I could say it tightened the bass a little, not really, and the sound is a little more open/spacious, the soundstage and maybe the phones just added a little more volume compared to the standard…

  • I have no particular complaints about it, everything is fine
