Description of 🔌 Mediabridge HDMI Cable - 6 Feet, High Speed, Hand-Tested, Supports 4K@60Hz and HDMI 2.0 - UHD, 18Gbps, Audio Return Channel

INDIVIDUALLY HAND-TESTED: Every cable is checked right from the assembly line to ensure it performs at peak level. Unlike many competing brands that test random cables from large batches, we examine each cable at its manufactured length, between devices capable of supporting 4K (2160p) @ 60Hz. PREMIUM BUILD QUALITY: 28AWG pure Copper conductors, tri-shielding & a gold-plated full metal jacket provide optimal sound & picture quality that’s true to the source. WHEN WE SAY 60Hz, WE MEAN IT: Most basic 4K players & TV’s today only support up to 30Hz, which is quite the downgrade compared to 60Hz. Fortunately, our cables are built with the highest specs to make sure they work with even the most premium devices. Note: Due to varying HDMI standards, no cable on the market can guarantee universal 60Hz compatibility. SUPPORT FOR ALL: Fear not, for it supports all HDMI 2.0b functions including 18Gbps transfer speed, 4K, UHD, 3D, 48-Bit Deep Color, HDR video & ARC. 28AWG pure Copper conductors, tri-shielding & a gold-plated full metal jacket provide optimal sound & picture quality that’s true to the source. LIFETIME WARRANTY: We will catch virtually all manufacturing defects with our hand-testing process. For any concerns that may not surface until later, you’re still backed by our Limited Lifetime Warranty. We also have friendly, USA-based customer support. If you even need it!.

Works as advertised

Works great! It supports 4K @ 60Hz from HDMI 2.0 port on MSI GAMING GeForce GT 710 2GB GDRR3 64-bit HDCP DirectX 12 support OpenGL 4.5 Low Profile Graphics Card with a fan (GT 710 2GD3 LP) on my Windows 8.1 Computer on Optoma UHD50 4K Ultra High Definition Home Theater Projector. The catch is that only the HDMI 2.0 port can be active to achieve a 60Hz refresh rate at 4K or 2160p resolution. If the DVI port is also connected to a 1080p monitor, the 4K projector only receives 4K@30Hz from the…

Some time ago I bought 7 of these cables for a new home cinema system. I had to hook up a PC, game consoles, Blu-ray and receiver while using another brand of 30ft HDMI that I had to hook up to my 90" LCD. One by one they began to fail. The cables look intact, have they been used in a fully static installation? The system was installed in a closet and replacing it was a major hassle. Look elsewhere and don't fall for a 4.5 star rating. The new HDMI cables (v2+) deviate from the old 1.x…

Shit bad product

Worst quality cable for a product that should have been so great that I ever had the displeasure of buying it. I used the first one and after a few days I had to remove it. The wonderfully gold-plated plug came loose and could no longer be connected to the many individual wires in the HDMI cable. When I tried the second, the same thing happened again. It's been a long time since I made the purchase and I should have contacted the seller at the time but I didn't. When I checked after a while, I…

Works as advertised but thick wire and not easy to route

I use this product to connect laptops to a 55 inch HDTV for a variety of purposes. The cable works great. Good picture quality and no problems with the resolution (1920x1080). I needed the extra length as I wanted my laptop close at hand rather than next to the TV. The only drawback is the thick cable. I understand that such a distance requires a larger wire gauge, so I expected a strong cable. I just wish there was an easier way to handle and store the limited surplus I have. If you plan to…

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Long wait

Some people will tell you that all HDMI cables are the same. You would be wrong. While I agree that there's no reason to spend $60 or more on ultra-premium cables, there is a difference in quality and performance that you'll find in the reasonable and modest price zone. I think when I bought it it was about a dollar more expensive than Amazon cables and I would say I got a dollar more performance from it. There is a misconception that if you can pump a digital signal down a cable at all, the…

Not working with Roku TV?

I got my parents a 49 inch TCL 4K Roku TV for Christmas. I have two of these 3ft HDMI cables to connect a component to HDMI converter for their DVD player and to connect a Yamaha YAS-207 soundbar to the system so I have ARC+CEC control. First I connected the component converter. I did not receive anything. Not found at all. I thought these things might be finicky and it might be the converter. Moved to the soundbar. Nothing. Not found. Strange. So I tried a second cable. No signal. I finally…
