Mediate.ly was born from an agency’s frustration with industry programmatic vendors that were order takers and lacked strategic thinking about how the advertiser’s budget should be spent, or worse, couldn’t provide basic guidance how to optimize good or poor performing campaigns—call it lack of knowing, or lack of transparency, it wasn’t happening. We address this frustration with our clients and ensure that they get what they ask for plus more. We share details about flight and budget changes, algorithmic changes and other elements that may not intuitively mean anything to our clients but are given the opportunity to educate them along the way.
We’re agency people too and we understand the limitations of what agencies and brands alike face with a media company that insists on large monthly minimums. Moreover, we know the frustration of seeing a lack of tactic mix and targeting strategies once you’ve only crossed that minimum.
